1-8-1928
Chamber came into existence with relentless efforts of late Sri Murigeyyaswamy Jengin, Sri Sreenivasrao Mangalvedhe, Sri Nagappa Abdulpurkar, their colleagues and contemporaries.

21-2-1957
Chamber celebrated its Silver Jubilee; Sri Santappanna S. Yelamali was the President then. Sri S. Nijalingappa, the then Chief Minister of Karnataka and Sri C.N. Poonacha, the then State Minister of Industries And Commerce were the chief guests on the occasion. A souvenir was brought out to commemorate the occasion.

12-6-1979
Chamber celebrated its Golden Jubilee. Sri J. P. Javali was the President then. Other Office Bearers Sri R. M. Meherwade, Sri V. M. Mirji, Sri W. M. Shanbhag Burdekar, Sri S. I. Shettar and Sri K. B. Desai strived hard in making the celebrations a grand success, as also in collecting huge amounts from members and others for the construction of the Annexe building. A souvenir was brought out to commemorate the occasion.

1981
The Golden Jubilee Trust was formed to undertake many activities such as Business Management Course, Practical Accounting course as also EDP programme for women and Elocution competitions in association with A.D. Shroff Memorial Trust, Mumbai and also arranging Guest Lectures in memory of Late Suresh Shabadimath, Gadag.  

1985-1990
A number of Seminars, Workshops, and Conferences etc. have been organised by chamber with association of Government Agencies, during the period. Due to the efforts of our Chamber, the Karnataka Material Testing and Research center was established at the Industrial Estate, Gokul Road, Hubli.

26-3-1991
After a long and useful 62 years of service to the Mercantile Community and humanity at large, the Chamber celebrated its Diamond jubilee at Indira Glass House, Hubli which was a unique function. Office bearers under the President-ship of Sri K. B. Desai, Sri G. B. Hampannavar, Sri R. S. Yalagach, Sri Ramachandra Uchila, Sri C. B. Patil, Sri J. P. Jabin and committee members made it possible.

1992
Hubli Dharwad Stock Trading House was established by the Chamber to cater the needs of investors of this part of area.

1996
'INCOMEX-96' an industrial exhibition was organised by the Chamber in coordination with the Government of Karnataka.

3-9-1999
Ex President Sri L. V. Muddanna inaugurated ‘Mahadwara’ of the Chamber and 'Mini Boardroom' on the first floor was inaugurated by the ex-president Sri K. B. Desai.

Incomex 2002
Mega Industrial Exhibition was organised in the name and style and "INCOMEX-2002" from 11th to 16th May 2002, with sole purpose of promoting Industries in Association with Department of Industry and Commerce, Govt. of Karnataka, B.V.B. College of Engineering and Technology, a leading Technology Institute of Hubli and North Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (NKSSIA). Many of Public Sector Undertakings participated. Lot many seminars and workshops, vendor-vendee meting were arranged with Small & Medium Enterprises.

29-01-2003
In order to cater to the needs of traders and industrialists of this part, especially the budding Exporters, the Chamber established an exclusive “Export Promotion Cell” on 29th January 2003. The Export Promotion cell is functioning very well and has stepped into 3rd year.

September 2003
KCC&I lead a delegation to Sri Lanka during which MoU's were signed with The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce - Colombo & the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka, which is a historical event.

October 2003
Visited Peoples Republic of China during October 2003 along with delegation lead by ZDH/SEQUA of Germany and signed MoU with Chengzhou Chamber of Commerce which added a feather to the crown of KCC&I.
