  1. Promote trade and industry such as to achieve sustainable overall economic        growth of Gujarat state.

  2. To deal with concerns, issues and problems of the mercantile community and        resolve the same.

  3. Create proactive partnership between government (Local, State & Central) on        one side and business community (Locally, Nationally & Globally) on the other        side.

KCCI Seeks to Achieve this by

  1. Maintaining databases related to trade, industry and government policies.

  2. Adopting measures for promoting and safe guarding the interest of trade,        commerce and industry through effective handling of member’s issues.

  3. Maintain close liaison with Local, State and Central governments to promote        sustainable and balanced economic growth of Gujarat.

  4. Initiate action to resolve problems and deterrents of trade and industry in

       their working through cooperation and support of government bodies.

  5. Disseminate business information to its members through publications,        workshops, seminar, conferences and discussion meetings with their
        business delegations.

  6. Recognizing institutions and individuals for outstanding contribution in areas
      of trade/industry and social services. 

  7. Providing in relief in times of natural as well as man-made calamities to
          affected people in Gujarat as well as various parts of the country.
